This photo is of my Grandmother,
Marguerite Elizabeth Butler Gallagher ➔
Called Mum by her four children, Nana by her nine grandchildren and Liz by her husband. She was a warm and loving person. She signed every note with a Love, Nana but always added XOXO, which made me feel just a bit more loved.
I never saw Nana cook.
She would heat and serve,
but was not much for making pies or cookies with us kids.
Luckily she always had a large stash of Oreos in her glass cookie jar with the cork top, right next to the goldfish.
Liz made great reservations. She was also excellent about going to restaurants and picking up meals. Chicken Kiev with Baby Vegetables, Veal with Mashed Potatoes and of course Corned Beef with Potatoes. She would plate these meals and present them with a smile.
I figured that after raising four kids, she was tired of cooking. My mom told me that besides some broiled halibut with a crumbled Ritz cracker and butter topping, she was never much of a cook.
I bet you’re a busy person with not much time or gumption to cook.
So many of us have sports, activities and homework and not to mention social lives. We built LIZ to help the people of Telluride, those that live here and those visiting. You don’t have to cook. We can provide healthy meals for you and your family that are designed to taste great today and tomorrow.
You may have a great steak and just need some accompaniments, we got you. You may have a potluck- we won’t tell if you don’t that it didn’t come from your kitchen. Or you may just be living life and don’t want to think about, prepare for or clean up after a meal.
